SMART Budget Request
What is a SMART Budget Request?
The second phase is the SMART Budget Request. It is a summary plan plus an annual funds request which includes the cost of each budget program or budget activity. This is presented to the legislature for the appropriation of funds.
Additionally, institutions that submit EBO postsecondary budget forms will submit a SMART Budget Request. The SMART Budget Request will include associated institution goals and objectives for the fiscal year.
